AR for story authoring

AR for story authoring

Using AR for story authoring | Marie Kegeleers and Rafael Bidarra

This project explored how AR can be used for story authoring, focusing on two benefits AR offers: real 3D visualization and more hands-on interaction. We developed Story ARtist, a concept application that allows users to create simple stories based on actions, characters, objects and environments. The application combines tangible interaction using markers and touch-less interaction using hand tracking. It features a tabletop environment to dynamically input and visualize story authoring elements, augmented by the 3D space provided by AR.
